Looking for a fun and exciting camp this summer?

CYCLONE GYMNASTICS CAMP is June 14 - 18, 2009.

For gymnasts ages 5 - 18. Camp is for beginners to elite gymnasts.

Day Camp and Overnight Camp available!

OPEN GYM HOURS beginning May 30, 2009

Saturday - May 30 : 12:00 - 2:00 p.m.

Saturday - June 6: 12:00 - 2:00 p.m.

2009 Summer Open Gym Hours

FRIDAYS from 5:00 - 7:00 p.m. will be June 12 through Aug. 7, 2009

(No Open Gym on July 3rd)

CGA WILL BE OFFERING SUMMER 2009 CLASSES!

3/28/2009 - Cardinal Gymnastics Academy team boasts two State Champions at the 2009 USAG State Gymnastics Meet this past Saturday in Coralville. Thirteen year old Miranda Kuehl took first place overall at Level 10 and Jade Harris, also 13, took first place in Level 8.

Miranda also took first place in the Uneven Bars and Balance Beam, while taking second place on the Vault and Floor Exercise. Jade also placed first on Vault and Beam.

The Level 8 (age 13 group) team swept the top three spots with Jade Harris placing first, followed by Christa Sawyer and Hannah Whipple.

The two Level 7 competitors, Maddie Keane and Sophie Straub placed 2nd and 3rd, respectively. Maddie competed in the 13 year old age group while Sophie competed in the 9-10 year old age group.

3/23/09 - Good luck to our optionals teams (Levels 7-10) as they head to the 2009 Iowa State Championships this Saturday, March 28, in Coralville. Those competing for CGA include Maddie Keane and Sophie Straub in Level 7; Sara Anderson, Jade Harris, Kylee Manzer, Christa Sawyer and Hannah Whipple in Level 8; Megan Cohea, Maggie James and Jessica Misra in Level 9; and Miranda Kuehl and Nitya Ramaswami in Level 10. Go teams!!

At last, a convenient way to register your son or daughter for gymnastics class at your fingertips, right now. Click on the registrations link on the left side of the page and choose your class.

If the class and/or class time for which you would like to enroll is full, you have two options. You can try another class time for the same level of class or click on the "Waiting List" link and add your name. We will make every effort to open up another section of the class if enrollment warrants. If you have any questions just call us at (515)296-8787.

Attention Team Parents - you can also pay your monthly tuition online for FREE! Just click on the appropriate "team" link on the left side of the page and you can easily make a payment with your credit or debit card.

7/18/08 The Cardinal Gymnastics Competition Teams performed at the Iowa Games Opening

Ceremony this evening. The event took place at Jack Trice Stadium and included

Governor Chet Culver as well as the 2008 Miss Iowa. Our gymnasts did a FANTASTIC

job!!

8/18/08 Good Luck Shawn Johnson from Cardinal Gymnastics!

Congratulations on making the 2008 Olympic Team. We know you will bring home a Gold Medal for the United States. You make all of Iowa and the U.S.A. proud!

You are the best!

6/14/08 Shawn Johnson trains at Cardinal Gymnastics!

Olympic Hopeful, Shawn Johnson from Chow's Gymnastics in West Des Moines payed a visit to our gym today. Shawn's gym in Des Moines (Chow's Gymnastics) was inundated by the recent flooding of central Iowa. Shawn and her friends from Chow's optional team practiced at Cardinal Gymnastics Academy to prepare for the upcoming Olympic Trials. We are happy to provide Shawn with a safe and comfortable facility to prepare for the U.S. Olympic trials. Good luck Shawn!

We wish Shawn the best of luck at the U.S. Olympic Team Trials. From what we observed in our gym during her training...she will be the number one pick for the team, no doubt!
